JAMES EARL

James was born in Fort Polk, Louisiana, while his father was serving in the United States Army. His father’s service led the family to several places in the U.S. and abroad, including El Paso, Texas, Clarksville, Tennessee, Madrid, Spain, and Lima, Peru, before finally settling down in Orlando, Florida.

James graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in International Affairs in 2020. He then attended the University of Illinois College of Law where he received his Juris Doctor in 2024. James is licensed to practice law in the state of Illinois.

James’ practice at Bortz Kleindorfer, LLC is focused in the areas of medical malpractice defense and insurance defense. Prior to joining the firm, James practiced in the area of workers’ compensation representing claimants across Illinois. Outside of the office, he is an avid college football fan and enjoys spending time with his fiancée and their pets.
